We’ve resorted to psychological tricks to convince ourselves that the food we’re eating isn’t so drab. This challenge is really making us realise how much we think about food…or maybe we’re thinking about food more than usual because we know we can’t eat everything we want?
On top of the hunger, it’s the little things I’m missing like pepper to jazz up my beans. And a knob of butter softly melting over hot toast…ahh I’m drooling. Not long to wait until tonight’s mini tinned tomato, chickpea and hotdog stew – maybe some processed peas (?!) on the side.
